Carolyn S. Hassell
Carolyn was married to the late Rev. Richard E. Hassell. Their lives have been blessed by three sons, three grandchildren, and three congregations of family. Through the riches of God’s favor they have friends across the southwest and southeast of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church.
Educated in elementary and secondary schools in Haywood County and a product of Tennessee State University, she continued her education in specialty fields of insurance and Christian Education.
Her passion for Christian growth and learning paved the way for her to open her own business as a Christian Book store owner and manager. Pages of Hope Bookstore opened in 1992 in Houston, Texas. Through this vehicle, Carolyn was able to sponsor readings for children, assist in ministry for women and youth, and develop book clubs in local congregations. Marriage to a Methodist minister presented opportunities to further her reach in travel and contact new communities; however, it became impossible to manage a full time retail store. Therefore, she began her true profession as a full time professional volunteer. She has served as program director for Church Women United, President of the Ethel Hedgeman Lyle Foundation, and volunteer for the Red Cross.
Carolyn S. Hassell is the CEO of NBloome, a ministry of encouragement. She currently serves as the event planner and coordinator for the Fifth Episcopal District of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, under the leadership of Bishop. Teresa E. Snorton.
In addition, she is an independent consultant for Aularale Cosmetics. Every woman deserves to be her very best. For more options please visit http://www.aularale.com/8250
